HERE WE GO WITH STRIPES



Glad that you are here reading this blog about stripe fashion and style and here we the stripe lovers unite. It is true, that stripes are considered timeless classics and we every women has stripe collection in our closet. It is something that we can wear anywhere , and style it accordingly. 

Here, I am wearing a blue and white vertical stripe slit dress paired with black heels. The interesting thing is that there was a fabric waist belt with this dress, same as the fabric of the dress. I found this dress very interesting because there are several buttons which can be kept open and style in a different way. The waist belt which we can use for styling is what the dress has given for all the fashion lovers, and don't you think, it is always grateful to have a collection like this dress in our wardrobe and style the way we want to.

As we are united here, I want to share something related to stripes in fashion. We already know there are many stripes available in market right? But we need to pick stripe garments very carefully. Let me tell you why? I always wanted to look tall because I am not blessed with tall legs. So I have to choose garments very carefully. For a average height girl like me, vertical stripes clothing are perfect, as it makes us look taller and slimmer, and black are always worn to look slim and tall. So, here is a look with blue and white stripe slit dress paired with black jeggings. You can also wear striped slit dress paired with white shoes if you are blessed with taller height. This type of dress can be worn to look like a lady boss or a casual girl in street.

STYLISH AND MODERN LOOK WITH BANDHNI FABRIC

Look created out of old dupatta. Here, I have wore a top with white threadwork designed fabric sourced from local market and a pant made out of my old bandhni dupatta.  Bandhni, is a type of tie and dye textile which is adorned by plucking the cloth into many bindings, that form a design. The art of bandhni involves dyeing the fabric which is tightly tied with a thread at several places to produce different patterns. We also know, it is the oldest form of tie and dye. Bandhni is generally performed on cotton and silk fabrics. Nowadays, there are various bandhni designs and patterns available in the market, but in this situation, going out for fabric sourcing is not a good idea. So, what I had decided is to make a garment from old fabrics which are not in use.  Here, I have created a summer casual look giving it a classy, chic and pretty girlish look with soothing colors, white and pink combination.
